A growing, financially sound community bank in Metro Atlanta is seeking an experienced Business Banker/C&I Lender for it's East Atlanta territory. Position will be responsible for new business sourcing and relationship management. Job Description: GENERAL FUNCTION: Performs a wide range of duties relating to the origination of residential 1st mortgage loans for outside referrals. Meets standards and objectives defined by management for mortgage loan sales and cross-selling objectives. Assumes overall responsibility for the residential mortgage loan from application to closing. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop referral contacts (realtors, builders, professional and personal contacts). * Maintain knowledge of Fifth Third Mortgage Company's policies and procedures. * Maintain knowledge of available loan products, processing procedures, and underwriting and general departmental guidelines. * Follow defined protocol for escalation exceptions. * Take applicant applications by completing Fannie Mae form 1003 on the laptop. * Utilize the laptop for communication and access of daily rates, applicant credit reports, Loan Prospector responses and transmitting the loan to LOMAS. * Collect appropriate documentation from each applicant and deliver loan package in the time frames set by management. * Manage pipeline for all originated loans through closing and complete required management reports. * Communicate with branches and/or applicants of providing timely updates and progress reports. * Maintain high levels of customer service while managing each applicant's and support staff's expectations. * Attend and participate in all Consumer Lending meetings as required by management. ¿ Ensure that all real estate transactions are conducted according to Randstad US policies and procedures. ¿ Provide guidance and assistance to the business units for all major real estate transactions, including lease transactions and divestures. ¿ Function as an integral part of a team to maximize financial benefits while minimizing risks. ¿ Provide critical liaison between the business unit and corporate real estate staff. ¿ Continuously assess the business units¿ real estate portfolio to identify sound business opportunities for space optimization and reduced operating costs. ¿ Coordinate the business units¿ related activities with national, regional or local real estate service firms, when such firms assist the corporate real estate department with transactional activities and project management under co-brokerage agreements. ¿ Assist in managing local transaction implementation (broker selection/oversight and process standardization) ¿ Facilitate closeout integration with lease administration. ¿ Manage/support corporate real estate system involving capital expenditures, and rental rates. ¿ Participate in various real estate transactions including lease negotiation and administration. Qualifications:
¿ Knowledge of Sequentra database software a plus.
¿ Bachelor degree required.
¿ 5 years related real estate experience.
¿ Georgia real estate license preferred (salesman).
¿ Experience in transaction management.
¿ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present succinctly to senior management.
¿ Ability to understand and analyze complex transactions, including financial elements of lease documents and other related real estate documentation.
¿ Solid understanding, experience and/or skill in real estate and real estate issues, including real estate trends, real estate market, data and analysis. Randstad is committed to equal employment opportunity.
