Position Description
NETREX Management Transition Exchange - AT&T's Networking Engineer entry level hiring program. The NETREX team is comprised of entry level graduates with varying Networking, Engineering and IT skill sets hired in the following location: Georgia. The goal of this strategic program is to enable participants to combine their coursework with the skills and experience essential to gain a broad experience across the Global Network Operations organization (GNO).
Power network operations - 24x7 network management - could be technical individual contributor or supervisory operations management.
Manage and ensure the completeness of GNFO Power maintenance routines and verify completeness. They will be part of a team that ensures adherence to the power standards. Oversee the of data into the alarm reporting database and the automated capture of data into the database . Analyze data from database and prepare reports for upper management. Will also perform event management functions for all potentially major impacts to power in AT&Ts offices. This is a 7X24 office requiring off tours, weekends and holidays. Also, must be prepared to work in excess of 40 hours a week when necessary. Required Skills: Expertise in DC Power, AC Power, NMA, WFA, TMAS, WMS and Netlink; Communications skills (both oral and written. Flexibility for tours and coverage. Power Surveillance and Power Routine Maintenance experience. Desired Skills: Microsoft Excel and simple database management. Position Qualifications
