The Production Supervisor will work with the Production Manager and warehouse teams to develop and maintain a production schedule; manage the workforce and equipment to meet customer and production requirements; perform daily production analysis and recommend improvements; develop and execute a preventative maintenance program; cultivate an educated, well trained and motivated staff; conduct employee performance reviews; participate in work related seminars and classes; maintain acceptable levels of housekeeping; and facilitate and maintain a progressive safety culture.

This is a 2nd shift opportunity, Mon-Fri, from 3:30pm-12:00pm. Applicants must be able to pass a drug screen and five-year criminal background check, and have a High School Diploma or GED.

The ideal candidate should have at least five years relevant work experience and prior experience working in a production environment and supervising between 15 - 70 employees. Preferably, this individual will be Bilingual, Spanish speaking.

Must have supervisory experience.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
 
Seasoned Engineering Subject Matter Expert focused on supporting Account Services Department, Sales, and Technical Sales in preparing NTS portions of sales initiatives and contract development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

Must understand;
Supports Account Services Department in pre-sales activities;
Identifies and evaluates project resource requirements for pre- and post- sales activities;
Primary contact for related activities with both customer and Network Roll-out Project Director/Manager;
Manages engineering team in delivering NTS services;
Utilizes project management methods, including but not limited to change management, project plan/schedule development, resource management, communication planning, and issue/risk management;
Generally supports NTS mission as required;

 
ADDITIONAL DEPARTMENT OR POSITION-SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 

Project Initiation and Planning:  The NTS Delivery Manager must be capable of developing a services project delivery team which may or may not be part of a larger program. He must be able to capture scope, identify needed skills, estimate resources to meet a schedule, institute appropriate project controls (communications and tracking), and manage customers – both internal and external.
Project Execution:  The NTS Delivery Manager must be able to execute a services project in a consistent manner, keeping it in control at all times. He must have exemplary organization and customer management skills, and be able to foresee risks and mitigate them. He must respond to ever changing circumstances, effectively address scope creep and other Project Strategy affecting issues in a professional manner to meet customer needs and expectations while ensuring the company’s cost are controlled and profitability is ensured.
Team Player:  The NTS Delivery Manager must be able to function in team environment where he holds responsibility and accountability for delivery, but may not always hold full authority. He must understand how to successfully wield influence to ensure his success, and that of the project.
Includes other specific duties/responsibilities as directed.

Position Description:
Braze various materials, copper, brass, and steel, using paste flux on all dissimilar materials. Read and understand piping diagrams to assemble and braze refrigeration units. Cut and measure to specifications to braze sub-assemblies for units.

Position Requirements:
Must be able to read, understand, and apply knowledge of piping diagrams. Must be able to pass company brazing certification (40 hours plus written and hands- on testing) and consistently braze to customer/company quality and productivity standards. Must have 12 months manufacturing or relevant experience. Duties to include: Braze
piping on sub assemblies. Maintain braze certification, accurately measure and cut piping using tape measure, maintain housekeeping per 6S lean principles, use appropriate equipment such as saws, benders, and sub-benders as required.

Position Attributes:
Handling coil tubing and parts, lifting weights up to 60 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods (up to 12 hours) on hard surface, hold brazing torch at approximate shoulder height, and bend, squat, and lift. Must be able to tolerate some heat from torch.

General Responsibilities:
Provide leadership as part of the IP Network Engineering team in developing IP transport solutions for long haul, metro backbones, internet and application specific networks. Generate written engineering documentation to support the installation and configuration of IP Routers and Switches.
