Must be able to support development and execution of sourcing implementation plans. Monitor, track, and report on success of implementation. Analyze results to measure value creation and ensure ongoing support of key category strategies.
Develop benchmarks for measuring category and supply base performance. Monitor, track, and report key category, supply market, and supplier performance metrics.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. Engineering, Management or Supply Chain degrees preferred.
Minimum 3 years work experience in the supply chain field required. Strategic Sourcing work experience preferred.
Professional certifications or advanced degree a plus.
Knowledge/Skills:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Project management, strategic sourcing, team facilitation, and leadership experience preferred. Solid experience with MS Word, Excel and/or Access, and PowerPoint. Basic Purpose:
Working independently as a Field Service Installer and perform onsite visits to complete installation, training, and service for numerous Quest Diagnostics connectivity products. As an installer, the candidates should expect to spend 90% of the time on site at physician offices, clinics and hospitals.
The successful candidate will have direct face-to-face interaction with our clients and must be able to communicate in a clear and professional manner to both technical and non-technical personnel. Patience is a must, along with the ability to maintain a professional appearance and attitude in stressful situations. The ability to multi-task and handle simple and complex issues as they present themselves is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Onsite installation, training and service of various connectivity products, which include complete computer systems (CPU, keyboard & mouse), printers, modems, monitors and routers.
2. Establish connectivity via dial-up modem, DSL, or Cable modem.
3. Configure router (if applicable) with filters and usernames and passwords using hyperterminal.
4. Installation and service of Care360 Bridge software.
5. Training clients technical and non-technical staff on Care360 application.
6. May be asked to act as a liason between client and application support on software issues and to involve necessary parties in the resolution of application bugs.
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Work Experience:
1. A+ certification desired.
2. 0 -1 year PC technician experience.
3. Basic Networking knowledge.
4. Knowledge of modems, DSL and cable ISP services.
5. Windows 95 and later OS knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
6. The ability to lift computer equipment and related hardware up to 75 pounds as well as good driving record required.
